For Frankenstein. The boy is Victor's younger brother. The monster has killed him. Really, the monster is far less nice when you actually read the book.
The arm looks like it hangs oddly...is it being supported by a branch there?
Something about the pose makes it look like he should seem limper, but mostly with his left (forewardmost) arm, and maybe his head. I don't know if it's just me, but his foot closer to the edge of the paper looks to be turned oddly, too.
I like how his ribcage is thrust upward. His face looks very innocent and fragile, almost angelic.
Beautiful work. ^^ But still sad.
that is the most awesomest thing ive ever seen in my life...

92 percent of the teenage population would die if Abercrombie and Fitch said that it wasn't cool to breathe anymore. Put this in your profile if you're part of the 8 percent that would be laughing your butt off!
That's one thing I disliked about the book, everyone before hand says, oh, you'll feel so sorry for the monster! But really? Not so much.
Also, monster only spoke French and Victor evidently did not, how did they communicate? And what about Victor's other brother?! The one that never died! =O
and ending my commentary on Frankenstein heh heh...
But yes, I'm a great fan of your work, especially the capturing of childlike essence and wonder~ Most artist simply make miniature, serious adults. Yours are always far more believable and enjoyable ^__^
Keep up the good work!
