My Baby Love-cover1by ~Trixis

Traditional Art / Drawings / Surreal

I did this illustration for the cover of the book “My Baby Love”, which I’m just finishing these days. The text is from an Australian author, Meredith Costain. It’s a very bright and colourful text about mothers and babies. It’s like a song and it has a great rhythm.
This one was rejected. It’s supposed to be a little disturbing ¿? It’s a pity. I liked the balloon mother and balloon-baby .

My Baby Love-cover1 is a fantastic representation of when the digital and traditional world combine. Pencil work overlaid with a touch of digital paint are only one of the many components that make this whimsical piece a sight to behold. *Trixis amazes me with her composition and expressive lines--a trait found throughout her beautiful gallery.
