This is the first double-page of My Baby Love. Its a picture book for Lothian (Well, Hachette Livre Australia, now) Its a bout mothers and babies, a kind of lullaby. The author is an australian lady named Meredith Costain. In this illustration, the mother is preparing paper dolls to send them to look for her child. The technique here is something pretty complicated. Something which involves pencil on polyester, watercolour on paper, and digital manipulation. Really, I dont know why I did life so difficult for me in this book, but oh well when it was not exasperating it was quite funny.
I really like this! I like the contrast between the Red and White! I really love the watercolour on this! Its gorgeous! I wish I could do that sort of art! Oh wow...

Your works always seem to touch me. This one brings me memories of childhood - climbing trees just so I could sit quietly in the branches and look at people going by (there weren't many, since I lived in a rather small village).
I love it! i can only imagine the work it gave you but it was worth it trust me. i love the way it gets simpler as it parts from the center, first the mother then the clothes then the tree and finally the background. really beautifull

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

It's a beautiful painting; it exudes calm.
